Civil Engineering Project Manager
A well-established, design-focused civil engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to support continued growth and a diverse portfolio of site development projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful, multidisciplinary work while contributing to long-term client relationships and strategic expansion across key market sectors.
Overview
I am working with an experienced civil engineering professional who specializes in site development design and can manage projects from concept through permitting. The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of hands-on civil site design experience, strong technical proficiency in Civil 3D, and the ability to lead projects with accuracy, communication, and independence. Additional responsibilities include mentoring support staff, coordinating with architectural partners, guiding permitting efforts, supporting business development, and ensuring project delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
Position Requirements
- License: Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain SC PE License
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D (site, grading, and utility design)
- Schedule: Full-time
