Job Summary
The Manager of Process Improvement drives operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role evaluates processes, leads cross-functional initiatives, and delivers measurable gains in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. A hands-on leader, this person builds high-performing teams, fosters collaboration, and applies Lean methodologies to optimize business performance.
Responsibilities: Lead and implement process improvement initiatives across engineering, production, and supply chain. Analyze workflows and apply Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven tools to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency. Coach and mentor teams to strengthen accountability, innovation, and performance. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to standardize best practices and optimize collaboration. Utilize ERP systems for process control, cost tracking, and production scheduling. Facilitate Kaizen events, RCAs, and corrective action projects for sustainable improvement. Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and visual management systems. Define KPIs to track improvement results and ensure alignment with business goals. Oversee capital and process improvement projects from concept to completion with measurable ROI. Serve as a visible advocate for Lean culture and operational excellence.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field. 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or operations management. 3–5 years in a leadership role managing teams or cross-functional projects. PMP certification preferred. Proven success leading Lean or Six Sigma initiatives with measurable results. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across levels. Experience with ERP systems, analytics, and process documentation. Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher strongly preferred. Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities. Willingness to travel up to 20%. ,
