About the Role
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer II to support and optimize our Gerotor and precision-machined product lines. In this role, you will analyze manufacturing processes, develop improved methods, drive quality and efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes using analysis, testing, and operator/supplier collaboration.
- Develop and modify manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment.
- Create clear work instructions (visual + written) for production teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Improve workflow, equipment layout, and process efficiency.
- Establish and validate testing/inspection standards and process controls.
- Support design engineering with producibility/DFM recommendations.
- Prepare production, cost, and process reports using data analysis.
- Provide technical support to operators and occasional supplier visits.
- Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience (or internship) in manufacturing process development, process improvement, or production support.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Basic understanding of metallurgy and heat treatment.
- Ability to read technical reports and interpret engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
Preferred
- Experience in aerospace or precision machining environments.
- SME or ASME certification.
- Exposure to CAD, drafting, or simple programming for process tools.
