Sr. Manufacturing Engineer needed for established manufacturer (60+ years) to lead process improvement and product development activities.
Our client is a technological leader that supports the design, manufacturing and testing of new units as well as established products for clients including for defense/aerospace applications. With new ownership our client is poised to double in size to ~140 in the next few years. With this growth comes challenge and career opportunities in a collaborative work environment.
In this role you will work with the retiring incumbent and take over process optimization, failure analysis/root cause investigations, Lean initiatives, cross-functional collaboration with machine shop and maintenance and more.
You do need a BSME or equivalent experience, 8+ years mechanical engineering with machining exposure preferred, Lean, maintenance support capability. SolidWorks a big plus.
Base $120-130k with discretionary bonus, full benefits, collaborative work culture! Located in Greater Westford, MA area.
