Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Device experience is needed for this role
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design and documentation of complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop components and assemblies in SolidWorks.
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.
- Ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, and quality standards.
- Oversee documentation, change control, and design reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
- 6+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Medical Device experience
- Strong SolidWorks, GD&T, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
