We are seeking a Project Manager with a passion for client success, on-time project delivery, and attention to process creation and refinement.
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for implementing corporate and client-specific initiatives while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across the organization. This role will engage with clients throughout the entirety of their partnership with Mirra Health Care, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. The Project Manager will oversee the full project life cycle, from implementation to deployment, while managing incident responses, risk analysis, and the change request process. This role will ensure that deliverables are met and documented within the specified time and cost for each corporate initiative. The Project Manager will play a critical role in developing and refining processes to align with organizational milestones, methodologies, and control guidelines throughout the implementation life cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of initiatives within the healthcare industry, spanning multiple lines of business and disciplines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and lead internal and external project teams, motivating and ensuring adherence to project goals, responsibilities, and milestones.
- Client Engagement & Success: Serve as a primary point of contact for health plan clients, fostering strong relationships, understanding client goals, and ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions tailored to their needs.
- End-to-End Project Oversight: Oversee the entire project life cycle ensuring that deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
- Client Satisfaction & Communication: Demonstrate exceptional customer service throughout the project and client lifecycle, managing expectations and delivering regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles, taking proactive steps to mitigate them, and escalate as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Change Request & Incident Management: Directly manage incident escalations and oversee the change request life cycle, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Project Reporting & Metrics: Regularly report on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and success criteria to stakeholders and leadership, including weekly project status updates.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, providing executive-level updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
- Process Improvement & Best Practices: Collaborate with internal teams to establish and refine best practices, templates, tools, and policies to continually improve project management and client engagement processes.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5-7 years’ experience in project management within the healthcare industry.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in client management, with the ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills, including the ability to lead across multiple business organizations.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and clients.
- Adaptability & Decision-Making: Self-motivated, decisive, and capable of adapting to change and competing demands while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and project success.
- Process Improvement: Experience in continuous process improvement practices, utilizing industry best practices to drive project success and improve operational efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Office tools such as MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
