Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role based in Secaucus, NJ. The Dispatcher will oversee coordination and scheduling of daily operations, including assignments for movers, delivery personnel, and transportation. Responsibilities include effectively communicating with team members, managing logistical challenges, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely execution of service commitments to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to handle scheduling and logistics effectively.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and address client needs.
- Ability to solve problems and manage on-the-spot challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Experience with dispatching software or similar tools, as well as a working knowledge of routing and transportation best practices.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and thorough records.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced on-site environment in the New York City area.
- Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or operations coordination is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in logistics or business operations is beneficial.
