Our client is seeking a Director, Supply Chain for an excellent hybrid position located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX (DFW) area. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement company-wide Supply Chain Strategy, providing strategic decision-making support, visibility, and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
- Oversee centralized procurement and warehouse operations, including inventory, assemblies, parts, consumables, freight, and supplier contracts & pricing
- Create and monitor KPI methodologies, partner with internal teams to enhance dashboard and reporting capabilities
- Partner with internal teams for Demand Forecasts
- Lead ERP material planning and procurement automation implementation
- Champion continuous improvement processes and projects
- Manage and mentor direct reports, as well as training and succession planning
- Ensure all relevant compliance for valuation and controls
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related
- Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive supply chain or strategic consulting positions
- APICS or CSCMP certification a plus
- ERP Implementation experience
- Warehouse automation experience a plus
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation, communication, and executive leadership engagement skills
- Experience with change management and ability to influence change across a matrix environment
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must operate with a high-level of accuracy, professionalism, and integrity
- Ability to travel up to 25% within Texas
