Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and validating manufacturing processes being transferred to a new location
- Specifying precise product functional requirements; designing, testing, and integrating manufacturing processes and fixtures; evaluating the processes’ overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
- Designing, developing, and executing process validation plans; creating and reviewing material part specifications and bills of materials
- Collaborating with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, and designers to optimize designs for manufacturability
- Utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to review and modify existing designs of engineering drawings
- Providing engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function.
- Evaluating manufacturing outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Electrical).
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in the medical device or regulated industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and statistical process control (SPC) tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot simple electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to identify yield issues, trace them to their source, and implement sustainable countermeasures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
