Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Shop Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with sales, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and streamline project workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and planning along with proficiency in relevant software tools.
Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using manufacturing management software such as SolidWorks and ERP.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands or unforeseen challenges.
- Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate scheduling.
- Utilize ERP for document management and collaboration on project plans and drawings.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress, address issues, and update schedules accordingly.
- Implement time management techniques to optimize productivity across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Assist in manufacturing estimating by providing accurate timelines for various phases of the project.
- Assist with parts marking, sales, and small assemblies within the department.
- Arrange travelers for projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project planning within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing management software (ERP, SolidWorks) is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in working with Boeing contracts and technical data/drawings.
- Familiarity with contract management processes and documentation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using ERP and SolidWorks for document control and collaboration purposes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A background in manufacturing (job shop environment) estimating is a plus but not required.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
