About The Role
The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination to ensure materials and equipment are available to support daily field operations. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of goods from receipt through delivery while leading warehouse staff and maintaining strong vendor and fleet relationships.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Lead and develop warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, routing, and fleet maintenance to support field operations.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure data accuracy within inventory systems.
- Develop and implement warehouse safety policies, housekeeping standards, and compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to forecast material needs and reduce downtime.
- Monitor and control logistics costs through process optimization and vendor management.
- Track and report KPIs, including inventory accuracy, fulfillment efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.
- Ensure the facility and equipment are properly maintained and meet operational standards.
- Support company-wide initiatives focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations (construction or manufacturing preferred).
- Proven leadership experience managing warehouse teams and implementing process improvements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Fishbowl).
- Forklift certification and strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
The Pay Range For This Role Is
70,000 - 90,000 USD per year(Houston)
