Quality Engineer — Omaha, Nebraska (Relocation Available)
We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing client in the Midwest expanding their quality function. If you’re a hands-on Quality Engineer who thrives on improving processes, solving problems, and leading change, this role offers real ownership and visibility.
What You’ll Do
- Lead quality systems and compliance initiatives (ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP).
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to drive root cause and corrective actions.
- Implement LEAN tools to improve efficiency and eliminate waste.
- Support supplier quality assurance and conduct capability assessments.
- Develop control plans and standards to ensure lasting improvement.
- Train, mentor, and align Quality Coordinators and team members on best practices.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication quality.
- Background in APQP, LEAN, and quality system management.
- Welding and weld inspection experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and training capabilities.
- ASQ certification a plus.
