Kokua Construction Group is seeking reliable, responsible, experienced full-time crew members with a truck and basic tools to work for Maui's fastest growing construction company. Candidates must have good problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively, and work well with other employees, clients, and vendors.
Duties:
- Perform metal stud framing and installation
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete carpentry tasks
- Assist with roofing projects, including repairs and installations
- Conduct frame carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Provide general maintenance person services, such as fixing doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Assist with water damage restoration projects, including drying and repairing affected areas
- Apply caulk and perform sealing tasks as needed
- Assist with construction painting projects, including preparation and application of paint
Skills:
- Proficient in metal stud framing techniques
- Experience using power tools and hand tools for carpentry work
- Knowledge of roof repair and installation methods
- Strong skills in frame carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- General maintenance person skills for various repairs and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with water damage restoration processes
- Ability to apply caulk and perform sealing tasks accurately
- Experience in construction painting, including surface preparation and paint application
