Camden Connection is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to coordinate disaster recovery initiatives and community resilience efforts in Camden County. This position will oversee the launch of a countywide case management system, support the Camden County VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster), and ensure seamless collaboration among community partners, local agencies, and residents impacted by Hurricane Helene.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate case management outreach to households with documented storm damage, providing intake, eligibility review, and service referrals.
- Manage Camden County VOAD operations, including partner engagement, education sessions, and inter-agency coordination.
- Oversee a contracted Resiliency and Recovery Needs Assessment, including consultant onboarding and partner input.
- Develop, track, and maintain project data, including household assistance records, financial distributions, and reporting deliverables.
- Organize and facilitate partner meetings, training, and community outreach to strengthen recovery capacity.
- Ensure compliance with grant timelines, reporting requirements, and ethical standards for service delivery.
Implementation Summary
- Develop and launch VOAD coordination tools.
- Begin household outreach, initiate intake and referrals, and launch consultant-led assessment.
- Continue case management, financial assistance distribution, and VOAD partner engagement.
- Finalize needs assessment, disseminate findings, expand strategic planning, and complete grant closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, nonprofit management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience with disaster recovery, community engagement, or case management preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with diverse partners.
