Lead the Standard, Don’t Just Follow a Blueprint

Seeking a Master Craftsman & Site Supervisor (trainee) with specialty construction experience and elite communication skills to lead our premium projects.

At Sheeley Roofing, we don’t run ordinary roofing crews. We build architectural legacies. If you are a premier metal roofing specialist who takes old-school pride in every seam—and has the leadership grit to run a clean, tight, and highly efficient job site—we want you at the helm. We are looking for a true professional to spearhead our high-end residential projects. Because we handle complex, high-stakes installations, this role requires absolute communication clarity. You will serve as the central bridge on every project, keeping your field team aligned while seamlessly acting as the professional face of our company to high-end homeowner clients, builders, and architects.

On-Site Leadership & Supervising: Directing crews, managing project timelines, and coordinating high-end materials to keep jobs moving flawlessly. Attention to detail and the ability to create custom roofing products is imperative on these projects
External Communication Excellence: Providing clear, professional updates to homeowners, builders, and architects. You can easily explain complex technical installation details in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
Internal Collaboration: Communicating daily with production lead, estimators, and your field crew to ensure alignment, prevent errors, and report on-site progress accurately.
Specialty Execution: Overseeing flawless execution on standing seam systems, historic restoration work, custom flashing, and complex architectural roof lines.

What We Offer: Top-tier competitive pay, modern equipment, a steady year-round pipeline of premium projects, and a rock-solid team culture that respects your expertise.

Requirements

Proven experience in specialty construction (high-end architectural metal, custom fabrication, complex framing, or premium exterior systems).
Exceptional communication skills—fluent in professional customer service, conflict resolution, and internal team reporting.
Advanced metal roofing experience is a major plus (standing seam, custom copper/zinc, etc.).
Track record in a supervisory, crew leader, or site manager role.
Ability to read complex blueprints, architectural drawings, and structural specs.

Sheeley Roofing provides premium roof services to the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas. In addition to installing high-quality shingled roofs, we manufacture and install exceptional metal roofing and other superior roofing products.

As a fast-growing company, we seek ambitious, career-oriented employees who want to expand their skill set and take on additional responsibility. We are not your run-of-the-mill roofing company; we work on interesting, high-end custom projects. Leadership opportunities for advancement are there for the motivated candidate.
