ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Ventura, CA | Full-Time
“We strive to provide peace of mind through integrity, quality, and a passion for people who set the standard for our industry and that starts with how we mentor, support, and promote our team.”
At Infinity Electric, we don’t just wire buildings, we build trust. We’re a Ventura based electrical contractor who has been in the business for over a decade and a half, known for ultra high end residential projects and tricky historical restorations on the residential side, and a full spectrum of commercial projects that include everything from parking structure lighting and tenant Improvements, warehouses, cold storage facilities and car washes. We often get the work others have said was impossible because we have a team that can make difficult custom solutions happen.
If you’ve heard of us before, it’s because we’ve been doing standout work for more than 16 years. And now, it’s a new day at Infinity.
As of April 2025, Infinity Electric is entering a new phase: we’re now under fresh operational leadership and partially employee owned. We’re leveling up our commitment to becoming the most respected, rewarding place to work in the industry. That means new systems. New pay scales. New tools. New opportunities. And most of all a new level of investment in the people who make it all possible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Project planning & kickoff: Review estimate and scope; build budgets, schedules, phasing, and resource plans.
- Coordination & scheduling: Align field crews, subs, inspections, and vendors; keep the calendar accurate and realistic.
- Material procurement & rentals: Drive takeoffs with the team; order materials, tools, and equipment with lead times in mind; manage deliveries and returns.
- Jobsite safety & quality: Model best practices; ensure compliance with company standards and OSHA requirements; support clean, safe sites.
- Documentation & controls: Maintain budgets, purchase orders, project logs, meeting notes and change orders.
- Meetings & communication: Lead site meetings and job layouts; run punch list walks; keep stakeholders informed and confident.
- Contract management: Process RFIs and submittals; manage change requests; track approvals; protect margin and schedule.
- Relationships: Work directly with GCs, owners, owner reps, architects, consultants, inspectors, and our field leads; deliver a professional, solution oriented experience.
- Closeout: Drive completion lists, test and label, gather O&M manuals, submit asbuilts, and hand over a clean, complete project.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years electrical project management experience (residential custom & light commercial).
- Proven track record managing everything from small whole home rewires to custom high end builds to clean commercial work.
- Clear, concise communicator who thrives in a team environment and builds trust with field and office alike.
- Organized, structured, and forward thinking; you anticipate needs and remove roadblocks before they slow the crew.
- Strong problem solving skills with a steady, professional presence under pressure.
- Comfortable leading site meetings, job layouts, and customer conversations; confident with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
- Solid grasp of scheduling, budget tracking, and cost control; you keep your numbers current and visible.
- Tech savvy with common project tools
Additional Experience and certifications it would be nice to see: OSHA-30, design build experience, estimating, Lutron and solar exposure.
