Join Our Dynamic Construction Team as a Site Civil Laborer
Industry Standard USA is seeking a dependable and hardworking Site Civil Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This role supports a variety of civil construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, infrastructure installation, underground utility work, piping installation, and general labor tasks.
The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and motivated to contribute to successful project completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build and expand skills in civil construction within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in underground utility construction, including water, sewer, storm drainage, and related infrastructure.
- Experience with pipe installation, alignment, bedding, and backfilling procedures.
- Knowledge of excavation and trench safety practices.
- Ability to read grade stakes, follow site plans, and work effectively around heavy equipment.
- Experience operating hand and power tools commonly used in civil construction.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Candidates with experience in underground utilities, piping, site development, excavation, and municipal infrastructure projects are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of civil site work experience
- OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
- OSHA 30 Certification (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to travel when required (up to 50% preferred)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred:
- 2+ years construction experience
- 1 year communication skills experience
Schedule
- 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
Ability to Commute/Relocate
