Sales & Marketing Manager
Disaster Response (DR)
Boise, ID or Post Falls, ID / Spokane, WA Full-Time | Total Compensation Opportunity: $125,000–$225,000
Ready to Build Something Great?
Disaster Response is growing, and we're looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager who knows how to lead people, build relationships, create opportunities, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
We're not looking for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk.
We want a leader who will coach the team, get into the market, strengthen our brand, create smart marketing strategies, build relationships with decision-makers, and help us find and win large commercial opportunities.
DR provides commercial and residential restoration services throughout the region. When water, fire, storms, or other disasters disrupt someone's home or business, our team shows up and helps put things back together.
Now we're looking for someone to help us build what's next.
Lead the Sales Team
You'll lead and develop our Account Managers while creating a focused, accountable, and high-performing sales culture.
A major focus of this role will be identifying large commercial account opportunities throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington and helping our Account Managers pursue and win them. You'll be involved at a high level in defining target accounts, opening doors, developing strategy, and helping the team build relationships with the right decision-makers.
You'll help the team:
- Identify and pursue large commercial accounts and strategic opportunities
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and expand those relationships across organizations
- Develop new strategic accounts and grow existing relationships
- Pursue Master Service Agreements and long-term commercial partnerships
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Improve prospecting, relationship development, negotiation, and closing
- Get out in the field and help advance and win major opportunities
You'll also be a strong believer in CRM discipline, tracking, and accountability. You'll use CRM data to understand what's happening in the pipeline, identify missed opportunities, measure performance, and make sure our Account Managers are maximizing their potential.
Help Drive Our Marketing
We don't want marketing just for the sake of marketing. We want marketing that gets DR noticed, creates opportunities, and supports growth.
You'll help shape and execute DR's marketing strategy across our markets, including:
- Digital marketing, SEO, AEO, website, social media, and email campaigns
- Creative campaigns targeting key commercial industries
- Events, sponsorships, community involvement, and strategic partnerships
- Sales materials and account-specific outreach
- Lead-generation strategies for both inbound and outbound opportunities
- Maintaining a strong, consistent DR brand across our markets
- Closely monitoring digital performance, lead generation, and return on marketing spend
Digital marketing is changing quickly, especially with AI reshaping how customers search and find businesses. We want someone who will stay ahead of those changes, continually evaluate what's working, fine-tune our SEO and AEO strategies, and make sure we're getting the greatest possible return from our marketing budget.
And we're open to new ideas. If you see a better way to reach customers, strengthen our brand, or create opportunities, we want to hear it.
Who We're Looking For
We're especially interested in someone who already understands the restoration industry — how relationships are built, how commercial losses develop, how emergency response opportunities are created, and what it takes to become a trusted partner before the loss ever happens.
Ideally, you bring:
- Property restoration industry experience is strongly preferred
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales, business development, or related experience
- Experience leading or coaching sales professionals
- Experience identifying, pursuing, and developing large commercial accounts
- An understanding of commercial restoration, emergency response, and relationship-driven business development
- Experience developing or overseeing marketing and lead-generation strategies
- Confidence working with executives and senior decision-makers
- Strong CRM, pipeline, forecasting, and accountability skills
- The ability to use sales and marketing data to drive better performance
- An understanding of digital marketing, SEO, AEO, and the changing impact of AI
- Great communication, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership
Experience specifically in commercial property restoration, large loss, disaster recovery, emergency response, or restoration business development will be highly valued.
The Opportunity
Total Compensation Opportunity: $125,000–$225,000Salary + Commission
This is a performance-driven leadership role with meaningful earning potential tied to the success of the sales organization and the company's growth.
Exceptional performance should mean exceptional earning potential.
DR also offers a competitive benefits package, including insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits, and other company benefits.
Why DR?
We're building more than a bigger company. We're building a place where great people want to work.
We believe in working hard, taking care of our customers, supporting each other, bringing new ideas to the table, holding ourselves accountable, and having some fun along the way.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a playbook and told to simply follow it. You'll have a voice. You'll help identify the accounts we should be pursuing, shape our sales strategy, strengthen our marketing, develop our people, build our brand, and influence where DR goes next.
If you're a leader who loves building teams, pursuing big opportunities, creating new ideas, and seeing your work turn into real growth, we'd love to talk.
