The Program Management Specialist is a project lead for projects across Support Operations and the Senate community. The Program Management Specialist has a portfolio of a variety of projects including but not limited to; facilities, procurements, software implementation, process improvement, and modernization efforts. The Program Management Specialist will be highly independent in their work to plan, manage, and track all projects within their portfolio. They are required to provide weekly project updates to the Manager and Director, and to escalate any risks that cannot be mitigated quickly. The Program Management Specialist will utilize project management methodology from the start to the completion of each project. Working across Support Operations, the larger Senate community, and with other agencies. Efficient, effective, and respectful communication is necessary throughout all aspects of the position.
