Director of Supply Chain

On-site, St. Augustine, Florida | $75,000–$95,000 / year | Full-Time, Exempt | Reports to: CEO

Position Overview

Pink Stork needs a supply chain leader to manage our supply chain and inventory team, oversee our portfolio of contract manufacturers, and help us plan ahead as we grow. We already have strong people running inventory planning and manufacturer relationships day to day. What we need is a leader who can support that team, help them grow, and think several steps ahead about where our supply chain needs to be stronger or more resilient.

This role requires someone who understands the pressure points of a consumable product business. Products sell out fast and mistakes in planning show up quickly. We need someone who has managed that reality before, ideally in dietary supplements or another consumable category.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

You'll lead our existing supply chain and inventory team. This team is already strong. Your job is to support what they're doing well, remove obstacles, and help them grow their skills as the company scales. You'll set clear expectations, hold people accountable to results, and build out the team as our needs grow.

Growth Planning and Resilience

You'll think ahead about what our supply chain needs to handle as we grow. This means identifying where we lack redundancy, planning for risks before they become emergencies, and making sure our systems and relationships can scale with the business rather than break under it.

Contract Manufacturer Management

You'll oversee the team managing our current portfolio of U.S. based contract manufacturers. These are strong, established relationships, and your job is to lead that oversight rather than take over the day to day work. Your focus is the bigger picture: identifying when we've outgrown a supplier and need a larger partner, spotting early warning signs of supplier instability, and leading the search for new manufacturing partners as we expand our product line. Experience sourcing product internationally is a plus, along with an understanding of import requirements and how they affect timelines and cost.

Inventory Planning and Forecasting

You'll lead the strong inventory team already in place across all of our channels: Amazon, Walmart.com, TikTok Shop, pinkstork.com, and wholesale. You understand the metrics that matter in inventory management and the specific challenges of forecasting for an ecommerce business, including seasonality, promotions, and platform-specific lead times. You're also comfortable with the operational details that matter for consumable products, including expiration date management, lot tracking, and compliance and product testing documentation. You'll set the standard for how the work gets done and hold your team accountable for results.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing inventory or supply chain for a growing company.
Experience managing contract manufacturers, including production timelines, quality, and cost negotiations.
Experience in dietary supplements or another consumable/CPG category strongly preferred.
Ecommerce and/or retail supply chain experience required.
Experience managing or building a team.
Strong understanding of inventory management metrics and ecommerce forecasting challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience sourcing product internationally and knowledge of import requirements.
Experience identifying and onboarding new contract manufacturing partners.
Familiarity with omnichannel inventory management across Amazon FBA, DTC (Shopify), and wholesale/retail.
Prior experience in a founder led or fast moving company where you had to build as much as manage.

You've managed inventory and supplier relationships for a real, growing consumer brand, not just tracked numbers from a distance. You know that in a consumable product business, a stockout doesn't just cost a sale, it costs a customer relationship you worked hard to build.

You've managed contract manufacturers before and know how to keep them accountable without micromanaging. You've probably sourced product overseas at some point and understand what that actually takes, from lead times to import paperwork.

You're a leader first. You know how to walk into a strong team, respect what's already working, and help that team get even better as the company grows.
