Job Summary:
As a Senior Technician, your job is to clean, dry, and remediate buildings damaged by fire, water, smoke, and mold under the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) standards. Our primary coverage area is Williamson County, TN and southern Davidson County, TN.
Candidate must have no issues with consistent standing, moving, and lifting. We are an emergency response company and the candidate should expect overtime, after-hours, and weekend shifts to be required on an as-needed basis.
License/Certification:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire, Water & Mold Senior Technician to join our dynamic restoration team. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire, water, and mold damage restoration, ensuring rapid deployment and effective mitigation.
- Perform detailed assessments of affected properties to determine scope of work, including water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as moisture meters and Xactimate estimating software to accurately document damages and restoration needs.
- Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation while adhering to safety protocols.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and follow strict safety procedures during all restoration activities.
- Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Manage on-call coverage for emergency response situations outside regular working hours to ensure continuous support for clients.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining compliance with safety policies.
- Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining processes clearly and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed using industry-standard tools like Xactimate for accurate reporting and billing.
Experience
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on fire, water, and mold remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and hazardous material handling such as asbestos abatement.
- Hands-on experience with flood restoration, water damage restoration techniques, and structural drying methods.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to repairs following disaster events.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, moisture meters, Xactimate estimating software, and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure environments requiring quick decision-making and problem-solving skills.
