Description
The Support Technician provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support primarily for Hall Prangle’s Las Vegas Office while also assisting with technology support needs across the firm. This is an in-office position that will work out of the firm's Las Vegas office. This role is responsible for responding to daily support tickets, assisting with Zoom meeting scheduling and launches, and serving as the technical lead for Las Vegas–based technology initiatives. The Support Technician will also participate in firmwide IT projects and collaborate with IT team members to ensure consistent, reliable technology services organization-wide.
Requirements
End-User Support
- Serve as the primary Tier 1 and Tier 2 support technician for the Las Vegas office, delivering timely and professional technical assistance.
- Respond to and resolve daily support tickets related to hardware, software, network connectivity, peripherals, and user access.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common desktop, laptop, mobile device, and application issues.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and follow-through.
- Support videoconference and in-person meeting requests including scheduling, configuration, and live meeting launches.
Las Vegas Office Technical Leadership
- Act as the lead technician for all Las Vegas–based technology projects, including office technology upgrades, device deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate locally with vendors, contractors, and internal teams as needed for technology initiatives.
- Ensure office technology standards align with firmwide IT policies and practices.
Firmwide IT Collaboration
- Participate in firmwide IT projects, initiatives, and rollouts as assigned.
- Collaborate with IT team members across offices to support shared systems, applications, and services.
- Assist with documentation, asset tracking, and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- 3 years - 5 years experience in an IT Support Role
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Highly proficient using MS Office Suites: Word, Excel, Outlook, and On-Line Case Management Software (Knowledge with Milana and FileVine, a plus)
- Must be highly organized, able to multitask and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
