Vice President of Information Technology - Global ERP Transformation
The Opportunity
Masentó are supporting a global industrial manufacturing organisation is seeking an accomplished SAP executive to take on a Vice President of Information Technology role which is a pivotal leadership position to lead a significant transformation programme.
Reporting directly to the CIO, this executive will be responsible for preparing, mobilising, and delivering the technology foundation required for a large scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation. The role will combine strategic leadership, organisational change, enterprise architecture, programme governance, and IT operational excellence to ensure the business is positioned for a successful ERP deployment across multiple regions and business units.

Key Responsibilities
Global SAP S/4HANA Transformation Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team driving the global SAP S/4HANA programme.
- Partner with the CIO, business leaders, and programme stakeholders to establish the technology strategy and roadmap supporting the transformation.
- Lead IT readiness activities, ensuring infrastructure, security, data, integrations, and application landscapes are prepared for global deployment.
- Drive programme governance, risk management, resource planning, and executive reporting.
- Support business process harmonisation and standardisation initiatives across global operations.
Enterprise Technology Strategy
- Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with the organisation's long-term growth objectives and transformation agenda.
- Define future-state enterprise architecture supporting SAP S/4HANA and digital manufacturing capabilities.
- Evaluate and modernise legacy systems, applications, and infrastructure where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and technology performance.
Profile
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior executive-level responsibility.
- Proven track record leading large scale ERP transformations, with significant experience in SAP S/4HANA programmes.
- Experience within global manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or supply chain intensive environments.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, enterprise applications, integrations, data management, and business process transformation.
- Demonstrated success leading technology organisations through complex change and enterprise modernisation initiatives.
- Experience in fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
