Assistant Project Manager – IA Stage

We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and brings both technical strength and a willingness to learn.
About the Role
As an Assistant PM, you’ll support the planning, coordination, and execution of rigging and mechanical projects ranging from custom theatrical builds to large‑scale themed entertainment installations. You’ll work closely with senior project managers, engineers, fabricators, and field teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Review drawings, technical documents, and fabrication details
- Track materials, shop progress, and installation needs
- Support field coordination and logistics
- Follow established processes and take direction well while growing into greater responsibility
What You Bring
- Strong technical aptitude — comfortable reading drawings, understanding mechanical concepts, and learning rigging fundamentals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Computer Skills (Microsoft, Bluebeam, etc., AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc. preferred but not necessary, will train. Please change or add in here
- Ability to work different shifts (1st, 3rd)
- Ability to stay focused and effective in a fast‑moving, energetic environment
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take direction and apply feedback
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow within a specialized industry
