Job Description:
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-focused Mitigation Supervisor & project manager to lead our response team in handling water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergencies. In this role, you’ll oversee mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating crews, evaluating property damage, developing action plans, and ensuring proper execution of mitigation services to prevent further loss. This position also requires direct interaction with customers on-site—providing clear communication, professional service, and leadership that builds trust throughout the restoration process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the assessment of property damage and develop comprehensive restoration plans for residential and commercial projects.
· Manage and coordinate mitigation operations, including water extraction, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and structural drying.
· Ensure teams use specialized tools and equipment safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
· Review and approve job documentation for accuracy, supporting reporting requirements and insurance claims.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Enforce all safety protocols, industry regulations, and quality control standards across projects.
· Provide leadership, training, and performance oversight for team members, while handling additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
· Willingness to work on-call shifts as needed.
· Previous experience in restoration or a related field preferred.
· Lead project management efforts for commercial and residential properties impacted by water, fire, and mold damage (required).
· Utilize Xactimate to estimate, scope, and manage restoration projects.
· Apply strong Excel skills for budgeting, reporting, and data analysis.
· Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills when working with clients, insurance partners, and internal teams.
· Leverage strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
· Maintain proficiency in computer systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms.
· Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards and procedures.
· Maintain a valid driver’s license.
· Successfully pass a background check, in accordance with applicable laws.
· Hold IICRC certifications .
