Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive successful project outcomes. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to track progress and identify potential delays.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and seamless project flow.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations (Procore), and contract negotiations.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Construction management platforms for documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project plans.
- Facilitate project meetings for team coordination, progress updates, and issue resolution.
- Ensure timely submission of progress reports, change orders, project draw requests, and other project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects; site experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; familiarity with Schematics is a plus.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of contracts management and construction estimating processes using HeavyBid or similar software.
- Experience with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and stakeholders across various disciplines.
- Familiarity with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D is advantageous.
- Ability to utilize construction management platforms like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration. Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
