Role Description The IT Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cranbury, NJ. This position is responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related systems that support warehousing and logistics operations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, managing network connectivity, implementing security controls, and resolving infrastructure issues to minimize downtime. The role also involves providing technical support to internal users, coordinating with vendors, and participating in infrastructure upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning. The IT Infrastructure Engineer collaborates with operational teams to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Information Technology skills, including experience with server administration, virtualization, and cloud or hybrid environments.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, such as configuring switches, routers, wireless networks, and monitoring network performance.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementing firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and security best practices.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools, backup and recovery solutions, and IT documentation practices is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft/VMware certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues, and support a logistics or warehousing environment.
Salary Range- $90k-$100k
