Project Manager Services
A global leader in the packaging industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager Services to lead technical service projects focused on equipment upgrades, modernization initiatives, and packaging line conversions across North and South America.
This position is ideal for professionals who combine strong project management capabilities with a solid technical background in manufacturing, industrial automation, packaging equipment, or capital projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex customer projects while ensuring excellence in quality, cost control, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions and project execution plans.
- Evaluate project feasibility, identify technical risks, and coordinate the necessary resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Assist the execution of equipment upgrade, retrofit, and packaging line conversion projects from initial concept through commissioning and final acceptance.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between customers, engineering teams, service organizations, suppliers, and field technicians.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Drive proactive risk management and resolve technical or operational challenges as they arise.
- Support commercial teams with technical expertise during proposal development and customer presentations.
- Coordinate field service activities and oversee Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security compliance during project execution.
- Maintain accurate project reporting and stakeholder communication throughout all phases of delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within manufacturing, packaging, industrial automation, capital equipment, or industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, assembly documentation, and maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk assessments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship management abilities.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Spanish and/or French language skills are considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Americas region.
