Amazon's Middle Mile is looking for a detail-oriented, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager. In this role, you will own launching, managing and scaling disruptive new programs to improve defect detection capabilities for our trailer fleet. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience partnering with different stakeholder teams and customers, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and delivering strong results. They will be responsible for developing and executing cost optimization initiatives, managing pricing agreements with vendors, and driving spend efficiency across Amazon Middle Mile Fleet. This person must have a high degree of autonomy with the ability to navigate ambiguous problems, develop solutions, and drive projects forward with minimal guidance. They must be able to think strategically, yet execute methodically to deliver to the highest standards. This person has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the aptitude to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to varied audiences. They will have a strong entrepreneurial orientation and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary in a start-up like environment. Responsibilities:
- Own the coordination, oversight, and successful completion of multiple simultaneous pilot programs within the middle mile fleet and transportation space
- Define and measure the success of pilot programs on a daily basis, pulling and analyzing data to identify trends and inform decision-making
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of each program
- Partner with external vendors and internal operations teams, including central operations teams, to execute and evaluate pilots
- Develop and present clear, accurate, and insightful reports and commentary to upper management and stakeholders, including VP-level leadership, regarding program status and trends
- Evaluate pilot performance within defined timeframes to determine viability for scaling or need for course correction, operating on a four-to-six-week assessment cycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to expand successful pilots to additional sites and drive scalable solutions
- Develop and execute cost optimization initiatives, manage pricing agreements with vendors, and drive spend efficiency across the fleet
- Lead and direct the work of others, providing guidance and direction across a geographically distributed team
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to varied audiences through written and verbal channels, including regular calls, one-on-ones, staff meetings, and collaborative messaging platforms
Skills:
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret trends and develop solution-based next steps
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel for daily data pulling and analysis
- Working knowledge of SQL to bridge data gaps and support analytical needs
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and external partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences
- High degree of autonomy with the ability to navigate ambiguous problems and drive projects forward with minimal guidance
- Strategic thinking paired with methodical execution to deliver results at the highest standards
- Strong entrepreneurial orientation with a willingness to roll up your sleeves in a start-up-like environment
- Creativity and latitude in problem-solving, with a demonstrated ability to remove roadblocks and drive pro
Experience:
- 5-7 years of program or project management experience required
- Background in fleet, automotive, or transportation industries strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines while delivering strong results
- Proven track record of partnering with diverse stakeholder teams and customers to launch and scale programs
- Prior experience with Amazon or Amazon Middle Mile operations is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Project Management Professional certification is a plus but not required

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $58.73/hour - $66.56/hour.
