Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills including carpentry, ability to read construction plans, drywall installation, and renovation experience. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects such as remodeling, siding, flooring, and more.
The Carpenter will be integral to delivering high-quality craftsmanship on various construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout each project. Candidates with hands-on experience in the construction industry and proficiency with both hand and power tools are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, siding, flooring, tile laying, and cabinet installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Install items such as doors, windows, and other building components
- Handle heavy lifting and material transport around construction sites while maintaining safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry (trim, frame), roofing, siding, drywall
- Ability to Tile is a Plus
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for various construction projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work
- Prior experience working on construction sites or remodeling projects is highly desirable
- Valid construction site experience with knowledge of stud framing, drywall finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, fixture installation, and other related skills is a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
