LaSalle Network is partnering with an industry organization to hire a
Project Manager to support a large-scale capital project program within a heavy industrial environment. This
Project Manager will be responsible for leading multiple capital projects from initial planning through execution and closeout, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery while maintaining strong project governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination within a structured project management framework.
What’s the job?
- Lead multiple capital projects through the full lifecycle from planning and design through construction and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, changes, and schedule impacts
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, quality, and safety requirements
- Coordinate contractors and vendors, including scope development, coordination, and performance oversight
- Support procurement activities, including bid evaluations and contractor selection processes
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, logs, and governance records
- Prepare regular project updates, dashboards, and performance reports for stakeholders
- Support cost tracking, forecasting, and capital expenditure reconciliation
- Work within enterprise project systems for cost tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment
- Support early-stage project planning and continuous improvement of project execution processes
What’s needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments
- Experience managing capital projects ($5M+ preferred)
- Strong experience with contractor and vendor coordination
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- Experience with project cost tracking and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and budget management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- PMP certification is preferred but not required
- Experience in heavy industrial environments such as metals, minerals, or process manufacturing is a plus
- Familiarity with structured project governance or stage-gate processes is a plus

Key Details
- Compensation: $85,000-95,000 annually
