Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Exterior Repair Technician specializing in roofing, siding, windows, and gutters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in exterior home repairs, be familiar with the materials and tools required, and be committed to providing high-quality workmanship. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining exterior surfaces and systems to ensure safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

Roofing:
Inspect, repair, and replace damaged roofing materials, including shingles, metal panels, and underlayment.
Identify and fix leaks, flashing issues, and other roofing defects.
Ensure roofing structures are stable, watertight, and up to code.
Siding:
Repair or replace damaged siding materials such as vinyl, wood, aluminum, or fiber cement.
Diagnose and fix underlying structural issues that affect the siding.
Maintain the aesthetic integrity of homes by matching colors and textures during repair work.
Windows:
Inspect and repair window frames, seals, and panes to prevent drafts and leaks.
Replace damaged or broken windows.
Install or repair flashing and caulking around windows for weatherproofing.
Gutters:
Inspect, clean, and repair gutter systems to ensure proper drainage.
Replace damaged sections of gutters and downspouts.
Install or repair gutter guards and flashing to prevent water damage to homes.
General:
Assess damage to exterior structures and provide detailed recommendations for repairs.
Use appropriate tools, equipment, and safety measures to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and costs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in roofing, siding, window, and gutter repair (3+ years preferred).
Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and other elevated surfaces safely.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant tools, materials, and safety procedures.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Skills:

Certification or formal training in exterior repair, roofing, or construction.
Experience working with various materials such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing, vinyl siding, and wood siding.
Ability to read blueprints and follow manufacturer instructions for repairs and installations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
