Square 1 Builders is a growing residential construction company focused on building high-quality custom homes while creating a positive experience for our clients throughout the building process.

We are looking for a Residential Construction Project Manager who takes pride in their work, communicates well with homeowners and contractors, and enjoys solving problems and keeping projects moving forward.

Our Project Managers play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring every home meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

Manage daily construction activities for multiple residential building projects
Maintain and update construction schedules to keep homes on track
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners
Conduct regular jobsite inspections for quality and safety
Manage and document change orders
Communicate project progress with homeowners and internal office staff
Ensure each job site remains clean, organized, and safe
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
Identify and solve jobsite challenges proactively
Ensure all work meets Square 1 Builders’ quality standards

Qualifications

2+ years of residential construction project management experience preferred
Strong understanding of residential construction practices and building codes
Ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Experience with construction management software such as JobTread, Buildertrend, or similar platforms is a plus
Existing relationships with local subcontractors are a plus
