Job Title: Field Test Coordinator / Project Manager
Location: Columbus, IN 47201 (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months (possible extension)
Pay Rate: $66/hour on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional after-hours support required for collaboration with international stakeholders.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Test Coordinator / Project Manager to support field validation and equipment repower activities for ongoing projects. This role requires strong project management capabilities, technical expertise in engines and OEM systems, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, drive project execution, and ensure the successful completion of field testing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute field validation and testing activities for ongoing projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, product teams, international stakeholders, and external partners.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and communications across multiple teams.
- Lead and coordinate equipment and vehicle repower activities, including engine installation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Support field test events at designated locations and provide onsite coordination during critical project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.
- Ensure alignment of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables across globally distributed teams.
- Drive accountability among internal teams and external partners to meet commitments and project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Project Management and project coordination.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle or equipment repower projects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Engines and powertrain systems
- OEM integration
- Chassis systems
- Experience coordinating:
- Field testing
- Validation activities
- Equipment installation
- Commissioning projects
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally to Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with OEMs and engine manufacturers.
- Knowledge of field validation processes and testing methodologies.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.
