Role OverviewThe Manager of Logistics & Warehouse Operations is responsible for leading all outbound logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, and order management across multiple channels including Wholesale, DTC, and Amazon. This role owns capacity planning to inventory distribution, fulfillment accuracy, and cost management. The Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels, reduce costs, and scale operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Transportation- Develop and execute the long‑term roadmap for logistics and transportation improvement.
- Lead outbound logistics across multiple 3PLs, ensuring timely, efficient delivery for Wholesale, DTC, and Amazon.
- Optimize contracts, rates, and service levels with carriers and 3PL partners.
- Plan for capacity needs and manage expedited workflows when required.
- Ensure all orders ship on time and in full (OTIF) according to customer and channel guidelines.
- Establish long‑term partnerships with carriers and 3PLs to ensure consistent performance.
- Confirm carrier pickups and deliveries, resolving exceptions proactively.
- Direct outbound logistics operations to ensure accuracy, speed, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Drive cross‑functional initiatives to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase operational visibility.
- Arrange for all product pickups and movements from the CMs, packaging vendors, etc.
Warehouse Operations- Oversee product distribution across warehouse locations to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Identify redistribution opportunities based on demand, sales velocity, and channel needs.
- Coordinate international logistics and inbound deliveries to support inventory and cash‑flow requirements.
- Ensure consistent product availability across all warehouse locations.
- Establish KPIs to measure warehouse performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Set shipping priorities and fulfillment workflows based on account needs and order management requirements.
- Partner on process improvement and automation initiatives to support scale and operational excellence.
- Ensure orders are checked in and put together for shipping in a timely manner.
- Ensure warehousing materials are in stock
- Work closely with warehouse on assemblies and kitting as needed
Order Management- Oversee the full order lifecycle from allocation through shipment.
- Partner with Sales, DTC, and Amazon teams to allocate inventory across channels.
- Manage order prioritization, backorders, cancellations, and partial shipments.
- Oversee documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipment details, and compliance paperwork.
- Proactively identify risks to customer delivery and drive timely resolution.
Cost & Inventory Management- Manage budgets related to freight, duties, overtime, and materials.
- Partner with the CFO on accruals, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through redistribution, consolidation, and process optimization.
Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or fulfillment.
- Experience managing 3PLs, carriers, and multi‑node warehouse networks.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing competitive rates and service levels.
- Expertise in NetSuite (BOM management, item setup) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and cross‑functional communication skills.
- Experience supporting omnichannel operations (Wholesale, DTC, Amazon) is a plus.
