Job Summary
The Merchandising Analyst – High Jewelry will assist in achieving planned store inventory levels and the maintenance of merchandise assortments to maximize profitability. The Analyst provides critical salon support, manages stock allocation and replenishment, and maintains a high level of accuracy while managing different projects. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, operational rigor, and the ability to collaborate effectively across regional and global teams within a luxury retail environment.
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Coordinate global stock allocations and product rotations across salon locations.
- Assist with daily and weekly replenishment shipments while analyzing and reporting on local and regional sales trends.
- Act as a key liaison for salons by facilitating merchandise transfers to support sales opportunities, client requests, and appointment needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, PR, Product Management, Logistics, and Global Merchandising—on new product launches, marketing campaigns, events, exhibitions, and photoshoots.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with salon teams and internal partners across departments.
- Prepare monthly High Jewelry communications to update retail teams on new products and effective sales strategies that strengthen brand loyalty.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, reporting, and provide support for special projects as needed.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2-4 years of allocations/merchandising experience.
- Luxury retail and/or Jewelry experience is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate with and influence peers and members of cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have strong technical skills; specifically with Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability/flexibility and initiative.
