Duties

Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework using power tools and hand tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute landscape designs.
Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks.
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to create durable outdoor structures.
Install plantings, irrigation systems, lighting fixtures, and other landscape components with precision.
Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained and project specifications are met.
Collaborate with team members on demolition, restoration, and remodeling tasks to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction site work with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery.
Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plastering, welding, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials, digging trenches, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and landscape installation.
Experience with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is a plus.
Additional skills preferred include plumbing, electrical experience, fabrication, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, restoration work, hardscape design elements, roofing techniques, flooring installation, or remodeling expertise.
