Job Description

This position is a part of our Contents/Cleaning team, some common responsibilities include inventorying, packing contents out of a damaged home, cleaning/restoring contents either onsite or at our facility, cleaning the structure, storing contents, and packing back contents. Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO® production guidelines. Communicate with the lead/supervisor to make sure all customer needs are met. Support lead/supervisor and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
Perform light construction and demolition as directed by supervisor.
Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per work order per lead supervisor directions.
Ensure clear two-way communication with lead supervisor and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns).
Perform water and fire restoration, pack-out of contents, removing /disposing of non-salvageable materials.
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

Position Requirements

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must possess valid Drivers License.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must have basic math skills.
Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
High school diploma/GED.
Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics).
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
Willingness to work with cleaning products and chemicals.
