Airport Operations Specialist/ARFF
Nantucket Memorial Airport is looking for a versatile and dedicated Operations Specialist/ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Firefighter) to be a key part of our airport team. This is a critical, multi-faceted role that combines emergency response with essential day-to-day operations. You will be on the front line of safety, responding to aircraft incidents and medical emergencies, while also performing daily safety inspections of runways, taxiways, and aircraft parking aprons to ensure compliance with FAA regulations. In addition, you will be responsible for aircraft line service duties, including fueling and managing fuel farm operations, and providing courteous assistance to general aviation pilots and passengers.
Position Details
- Hourly rate $33.07 (new hires) - $43.07 (employees hired prior to July 1, 2014)
- Position Type: Full-Time, LIUNA Union
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
