Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Operational Excellence to lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on continuous improvement, operational transformation, process optimization, and digital innovation. The ideal candidate will drive scalable operational frameworks while leveraging emerging technologies, including blockchain applications, to enhance transparency, traceability, security, and operational efficiency across business functions.
This senior leadership role requires a strong background in operational excellence methodologies, organizational transformation, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional leadership in complex business environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute enterprise operational excellence strategies aligned with organizational objectives and growth initiatives.
Establish and oversee Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and continuous improvement programs across multiple departments and business units.
Develop operational performance frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to drive measurable business outcomes.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process redesign initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost management, and customer satisfaction.
Lead digital transformation initiatives integrating advanced technologies such as AI, automation, predictive analytics, and blockchain solutions.
Design and implement blockchain-enabled operational systems to improve supply chain visibility, data integrity, auditability, and transaction security.
Drive adoption of smart contract technologies for workflow automation, compliance monitoring, and operational process validation.
Partner with technology teams to integrate blockchain platforms into enterprise systems for secure decentralized data management.
Establish governance frameworks supporting operational risk management, regulatory compliance, and enterprise process standards.
Lead enterprise change management initiatives and ensure organizational alignment during transformation programs.
Collaborate with executive leadership teams to develop strategic operational priorities and execution plans.
Mentor and develop high-performing operational excellence leaders and cross-functional teams.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to operational innovation and blockchain adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field required.
Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
12+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business transformation, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
Minimum 5+ years in senior leadership or director-level positions.
Strong experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile methodologies, and operational performance management systems.
Experience implementing enterprise-scale transformation programs.
Understanding of blockchain technologies, including decentralized ledger systems, smart contracts, digital identity frameworks, and supply chain blockchain applications.
Experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), data analytics tools, and enterprise automation technologies.
Strong financial and business acumen with proven ability to drive measurable ROI.
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
Knowledge of blockchain platforms such as Hyperledger, Ethereum, Corda, or enterprise blockchain ecosystems
Experience with AI-enabled operational analytics and predictive modeling
Supply chain digitization and process automation expertise
