The Role
• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for a new distribution center, ensuring smooth and secure warehouse operations.
• Provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure including printers, mobility devices (Android handhelds, vehicle-mounted terminals), and WMS user issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain network connectivity, including Wi-Fi APs, switches, and firewalls, as well as assist with cabling and MDF/IDF management.
• Support end-users by conducting IT onboarding/offboarding, troubleshooting hardware/software/connectivity issues, and managing IT asset inventory.
• Act as a local liaison for ISPs, low voltage cablers, and other IT vendors.
What You'll Need
• Minimum of 5 years in IT support, with several years specifically in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Proven technical proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Azure administration.
• Solid understanding of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi APs, and cabling standards.
• Experience with label printing technology, Zebra printers is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with the IT Operations team, demonstrating initiative and prioritization skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and spend extended periods standing/walking on a warehouse floor.
