Project Manager – Injection Molding (Mid‑Level / Engineering Transition Friendly)
We are seeking a mid‑level Project Manager to support new business development, manage RFQs, and coordinate program launches within our injection molding operations. This role is an excellent fit for candidates with 3–7 years of engineering or manufacturing experience who are ready to grow into project management or expand their customer‑facing responsibilities.
You’ll work closely with engineering, tooling, quality, and operations teams to ensure new programs are launched successfully and efficiently, while developing strong customer and cross‑functional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- RFQ Coordination — Manage technical reviews of customer RFQs, including drawings, specifications, and manufacturability requirements.
- Customer Support — Work with customers to understand application needs and help develop manufacturable, cost‑effective solutions.
- Program Execution — Support new program launches from quote through production, ensuring alignment across engineering, tooling, quality, and manufacturing.
- Technical Sales Assistance — Provide technical input during quoting and early customer discussions.
- Design for Manufacturability — Identify opportunities to improve part design for manufacturability, quality, and cost.
- Customer Communication — Deliver clear updates, timelines, and technical information throughout development and launch.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Ensure internal teams understand customer requirements and program expectations.
- Continuous Improvement — Contribute to improving quoting accuracy, program execution, and customer satisfaction.

QualificationsRequired
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field (degree or equivalent experience)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Interest in developing or expanding project management capabilities
Preferred
- Experience in plastics injection molding or similar manufacturing environments
- Exposure to RFQ processes, cost modeling, or program launches
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) concepts
Work Environment
- Mix of office, manufacturing floor, and customer‑site work
- Occasional travel to customer locations
- Ability to walk production areas and review molded components
- Compliance with PPE and safety standards required
Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
