HYTE is supporting a high-growth aviation technology company focused on solving critical operational challenges across the airline industry.
The organisation works directly with airlines to improve operational performance, real-time decision making and day-to-day operational efficiency through next-generation operational technology and data-driven solutions.
As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a Head of Airline Operations to act as a strategic bridge between airline operational environments and the deployment of modern operational technology solutions.
This is not a conventional commercial role.
The company is specifically looking for someone who has operated within complex airline environments first-hand, understands how operational ecosystems function in practice, and can engage credibly with senior operational stakeholders across airlines globally.
The successful individual will play a key role in helping shape airline engagement, operational deployment strategy and long-term customer success, whilst providing real-world operational insight internally across product and leadership teams.
✛ Key Responsibilities ✛
- Develop trusted relationships with airline operational leadership teams across OCC, airport operations, network operations and integrated operations environments.
- Act as a strategic operational advisor throughout airline engagement and deployment processes.
- Support operational adoption of technology solutions across customer airline environments.
- Translate real-world operational pain points into scalable operational and technical solutions.
- Work closely with leadership and product teams to help shape operational strategy and customer deployment initiatives.
- Lead discussions with senior airline stakeholders, operational executives and cross-functional customer teams.
- Support commercial growth activities through operational credibility and strategic relationship management.
- Represent the organisation across complex airline operational and stakeholder environments.
- Provide operational feedback and insight to internal engineering and product functions.
- Help shape long-term operational strategy as the company expands globally.
- Operate autonomously within a fast-moving, high-growth environment where individual impact is highly visible.
✛ Candidate Profile ✛
- Extensive experience operating within airline operational environments.
- Strong understanding of complex airline operational workflows, disruption management and performance pressures.
Experience across one or more of the following areas:
- Operations Control Centre (OCC)
- Flight Operations
- Airport Operations
- Ground Operations
- Integrated Operations
- Network Operations
- Airline Operational Strategy
- Operational Performance Management
- Ability to engage credibly with senior operational stakeholders and airline leadership teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support strategic customer relationships and operational growth initiatives.
- Experience operating within fast-paced, high-pressure operational environments.
- Ability to bridge operational, strategic and technology-focused discussions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and product teams is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to aviation technology, operational software, SaaS or digital transformation environments would be advantageous.
