Vice President of Strategy & Operations

A rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare services organization is seeking a high-potential operational leader to join the business in a highly visible Strategy & Operations leadership role. This position will partner closely with executive leadership on critical enterprise initiatives focused on growth, operational performance, integration, technology deployment, and strategic execution across multiple regions.

The individual will lead and support a wide range of high-impact initiatives spanning operations, growth strategy, procurement, technology infrastructure, AI enablement, physician engagement, and cross-functional execution. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable operating strategically at the executive level while also being highly hands-on in the field identifying operational opportunities and driving execution. This Vice President will also directly lead a small team focused on these enterprise-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership on enterprise-wide strategic and operational initiatives
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects tied to growth, operational efficiency, and regional performance
- Support implementation of AI, technology, and operational infrastructure initiatives across multiple regions
- Identify cost savings and operational improvement opportunities, including procurement and vendor optimization initiatives
- Help support rollout and execution of new service agreements and operational programs
- Travel onsite to practices and regional operations to identify gaps, improve workflows, and support operational execution
- Partner cross-functionally with physician leaders, operators, and corporate stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption of initiatives
- Assist in evaluating growth opportunities and supporting smaller regional P&L initiatives
- Serve as a highly visible operational partner to leadership with exposure across multiple functional areas of the business

- Healthcare operations experience within a multi-site environment
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth organizations
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with physicians and operational leaders
- Experience supporting operational improvement, technology deployment, or growth initiatives preferred
- High intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Candidates with Regional VP potential or broader operational leadership aspirations are highly attractive
