Our client, a Fashion Brand, is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their team on a contract basis in NYC!
Duties:
- Manage daily logistics operations across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce distribution channels
- Coordinate inbound shipments from domestic and international factories, vendors, and suppliers
- Oversee outbound transportation to retail stores, wholesale partners, and customers
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and delivery performance
- Monitor freight costs, carrier performance, and shipping KPIs to drive operational efficiencies
- Negotiate rates and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and 3PL partners
- Partner with warehouse teams and 3PL providers to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Monitor inventory movement, replenishment, transfers, and stock availability across channels
- Develop and improve inventory control procedures to minimize shortages, overstock, and shrinkage
- Coordinate seasonal product launches, allocation strategies, and promotional distribution plans
- Support physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of logistics, supply chain, or operations experience, preferably in fashion, apparel, footwear, or consumer goods
- Strong understanding of wholesale, retail, and e-commerce fulfillment operations
- Experience managing domestic and international freight logistics
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities
