Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Home Improvement Employee to assist in execution of a wide range of residential renovation and remodeling projects. This role involves managing construction activities, coordinating with clients, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across various home improvement services. Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of home improvement projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely completion.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring materials and labor meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Perform on-site inspections to monitor safety compliance, quality control, and adherence to blueprints and schematics.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized fabrication techniques to complete tasks such as framing, masonry, drywall installation, and fixture mounting.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve issues promptly and maintain project momentum.
- Lead restoration efforts including stucco application, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for complex projects involving electrical wiring, plumbing systems, glass installation, cabinet fitting, door hanging, and more.
Skills
- Appropriate experience in repair/renovation process with a focus on residential projects.
- Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Basic undestanding of plumbing and electrical work with relevant hands-on experience.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Expertise in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete forming), hardscape design, glass installation, fixture installation (lighting fixtures), remodeling techniques, flooring installation (tile & hardwood), drywall finishing (construction painting), plastering & stucco application.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing systems.
- Experience working on job sites with a focus on safety protocols.
- Ability to fabricate custom components as needed for unique projects.
