We are seeking an experienced Fence Installer Foreman to lead installation crews and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
Position Overview
The Fence Installer Foreman will oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, manage crew members, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has hands-on fencing experience, leadership skills, and the ability to motivate a team in the field.
Responsibilities
· Lead and supervise installation crews on fencing projects.
· Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and work orders.
· Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety.
· Communicate with customers, project managers, and office staff regarding job progress.
· Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
· Manage jobsite materials, tools, and equipment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues effectively.
Requirements
· 3+ years of fencing installation or related construction experience.
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
· Strong knowledge of chain link, wood, vinyl, ornamental, and other fence types.
· Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and use construction tools.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Must live within 30 miles of Garwood, NJ or be willing to relocate.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 75+ lbs.
Preferred Skills
· CDL or ability to drive company trucks/trailers.
· Equipment operation experience (auger, skid steer, post drivers).
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
