CONCRETE FINISHER/LABORER

COMMERCIAL CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION. MUST BE PROFICIENT IN BLUE PRINTS, FORMING, REBAR, AND FINISHING. DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED, CDL A PLUS. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL. BENEFITS & PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

JOB DUTIES

Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float
Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.
Must understand layout, tape measure, building lines, elevations, square, plumb, etc..
Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them
Install reinforcing rebar or mesh wire to strengthen the concrete
Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affects the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process to ensure a durable, smooth and uniform finish
Produce rough concrete surface using broom
Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge
Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete.
Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures
Drivers License
Willing to travel
Financially responsible with company credit card
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
