We’re currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our Dispatch Routing, Dispatch Fulfillment, and Driver teams. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing all equipment deliveries and returns while controlling costs and improving performance through clear, data-driven metrics.
Position Overview:
PDQ Equipment is looking for a Logistics Manager to take ownership of our daily transportation and equipment movement operations. This role is critical to keeping our trucks moving, our customers happy, and our teams working safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who’s comfortable both in the office and in the field - able to work directly with drivers and dispatch teams while delivering polished, metric-based updates to leadership.
- Lead and manage Dispatch Routing, Dispatch Fulfillment, and Driver teams
- Oversee daily routing, scheduling, and coordination of equipment deliveries and returns
- Track equipment availability and coordinate logistics to meet customer demand
- Provide regular performance updates and operational insights to leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and overall logistics performance
- Optimize routes, utilization, and transportation costs
- Manage and minimize third-party hauling through effective planning and negotiation
- Ensure safe, compliant driver operations in partnership with the Safety Team
- Track and report logistics KPIs, including:
- On-time delivery
- Cost per move
- Equipment utilization
- Third-party hauling spend
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or operations management
- Proven experience managing multiple teams, including drivers
- Strong understanding of routing, logistics coordination, and transportation cost drivers
- Highly metric-driven, with experience tracking and reporting KPIs
- Strong communication skills with both frontline teams and leadership
- Confident, decisive leadership style with a focus on accountability and execution
- Heavy equipment rental, construction, or industrial logistics
- DOT-regulated driver operations
- Dispatch, fleet tracking, or logistics software experience
