Role Description The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for receiving incoming goods, verifying shipments against documentation, and organizing products within the warehouse and production areas. Daily tasks include preparing and packing outbound orders, labeling and staging shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate records. The specialist will manage inventory movement. This position works closely with operations, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely, accurate, and safe handling of all merchandise and supplies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Shipping & Receiving and Unloading skills to handle inbound and outbound goods efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Packing skills and attention to detail to prepare and secure merchandise for delivery.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Control skills to keep accurate records and support stock organization and counts.
- Candidates should possess reliable time management, basic computer literacy (e.g., inventory or shipping software), and clear communication skills.
- Candidates should possess the ability to lift and move boxes as required, follow safety guidelines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or fashion/apparel distribution is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training or certifications in logistics or equipment operation are a plus.
